I want to get all my thoughts/memories down before i go to VN and forget alot of what happened.
JS - my former professor. He stinks at teaching and he gives off a bad vibe. i tried as best i could to work with him, but when he got mad, he snapped and i didn't want to be there. but i got through 4 days and on the upside, he learned to pronounce my name as uye^n and not wyn.
JH - my pharmacy buddy. i'm sad i didn't get to know him earlier. fun dood to hang with. i acted stupid around him and it was ok.
LY - i've always known her but didn't really get to KNOW her. i'm glad i did and she also saw a side of me she didn't know existed.
CL - my old berryville buddy. nothign new here. just lotsa fun.
BJ - i always knew how genuine and friendly she was, but it just became more apparent during the trip. she'll always be a sweetheart.
BZ - nothign new here either.
MINSA drs - so these drs work for the nicaraguan govt. they would write prescriptions for everything we had, even if it wasn't made for the pt (ex. prednisone 50 for allergies?!). they were just using us cuz we had free meds. it was very frustrating and 1/2 the time, we wouldn't even dispense what they wrote for.
food - i was disappointed that we really didn't get to try nicaraguan food. don't get me wrong, the food at el ayudante was great...mayb too good cuz i didn't stop eating the whole week. but i expected to have some authentic food and was disappointed i didn't get any.
that's all for now. going to VN tomorrow for 2 weeks w/ mom and aunt. lets see what i remember in 2 weeks.
